Monday June 2 2008 - Americade 2008

- Worlds largest Touring Rally.  Americade is held in Lake George, New York.  While the little town of Lake George is always hopping during this event, places like Saratoga Springs and the Adirondack Mountains aren't far away.  There are many activities including Demo rides from 13 motorcycle and trike manufactures, boat cruises, rides, poker runs, fireworks, the list goes on and on.

Friday June 6, 2008 American Red Cross Bash

- The American Red Cross, Greater Buffalo Chapter will be throwing its 10th Annual BASH  at it's chapter headquarters.  The BASH offers attendees the pportunity to dress in military-style costumes, enjoy great food and libations from area restaurants, live music, dancing and more!  A silent auction will also be held, featuring a wide variety of items from exotic vacation packages to jewelry, furniture, art, a selection of theme baskets and much more. It's great entertainment, and all the money we raise stays right here in the Greater Buffalo community.  The Greater Buffalo Chapter of the American Red Cross prepares for, and responds to, community disasters and emergencies and helps people lead safe and healthy lives.

Thursday June 19, 2008 - New York Truckers Gas Tax Protest

New York State Truckers will protesting the high tax on Fuel as well as the increase in tolls on the New York State Thruway on June 19, 2008. The truckers are asking cars and motorcycles to join them in their convoy to Albany and Rally on the steps of the State Capitol.

"Taxes are out of control," Gramuglia said. "We are steering toward destruction. We need to steer toward prosperity."

Participants will gather at the Fultonville truck stop at 7:30 a.m., departing at 9 for downtown Albany.

We need all the Clubs and independent riders to come to join this protest which is sure to garner national media attention. Its time Americans started doing something about the staggering cost of fuel that is hurting everyone.

The ride will conclude back at the Sawmill Tavern, where we will gather for a BBQ and music. 50/50 drawing $20 Donation per bike & auto and $10 for each additional passenger.
